Sacred Circles
New Moon Circle
Movement + Sauna + Cold plunge + Reflection
Multiple dates + places: Cycling with the New Moon
Good Medicine Collective, Portland, Maine

Lara and Genell invite you to join them for evenings of deep nourishment.
Each evening will be a ceremony guiding ourselves back to our centers using movement, sauna, cold plunge, and reflection in community.
These evenings are intentionally held on or near the new (dark) moon and during the darkest months of the year.
This ritual offers an opportunity to gaze within and claim intentions for the coming moon cycle.
Women have been gathering to honor the phases of the moon for thousands of years.
Let us keep this practice alive through connection, movement, light nourishment, and the healing waters of the sauna and cold plunge.
We are dedicated to being in a relationship with the Sacred Feminine and revere archetypes of the Goddess. We welcome women, non-binary, and gender-queer people who are devoted to the fullest expression of their souls.

May we gather together in community to celebrate, revere, and honor ourselves amongst Nature’s harvest together. The evening will begin with landing gently and sweetly into our bodies, both Genell’s intuitive guidance and Girish's soul stirring tunes will support you in your natural flow; be harmonized in your own vital nature and let go of the rest. We will close our evening together by sharing in song, using our own unique sacred sounds to find deeper connection in community. Come unravel, thoughtfully move, feel, breathe, sing, and celebrate this miracle of life's blooms together. All levels of practice and vocal pitch are welcome and encouraged (all movements by invitation).
Girish, an accomplished musician of many genres, former monk infused in spiritual practice, loving wordsmith linking lyrics and rhythm in a blissful musical event, sings traditional Sanskrit mantras with a modern, funky, yet deeply devotional twist. Accompanied by his amazing band, Girish invites his audience to participate by singing along, call and response chanting, and dancing. Girish has been recommended by “The Guardian,” “O, The Oprah Magazine,” “Yoga Journal,” “Spirituality and Health Magazine,” and more. Girish's original music catalog of seven albums is popular in yoga studios and music festivals all over the world, and his book, “Music and Mantras” (Atria/Enliven/Simon and Schuster) continues his work to teach the art of meditation through music, to the world.
