Meet Genell Huston & Ginny Gill Your Weekend Guides

Ginny Gill, pictured left, and Genell Huston bring you over 3 decades of combined experience for a weekend of wisdom and expertise

Genell Huston, original owner and founder of the renowned and beloved Portland, Maine yoga studio, Lila East End Yoga, has been immersed in the art of teaching yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda since 2005. Qi Gong, cranial sacral massage, mayo-facial release, and Reiki have helped her cultivate a daily rhythm that optimizes connection, staying grounded and centered amid the ever-changing, dynamic world we live in.

She has spent the last decade diving deep into self-study through traditional sacred ceremonies to better understand the psyche and heart.  The teachings from plant allies, Shamans, and sacred ceremonies are woven into her spirit and shared in her offerings.

Ginny Gill is a Certified Spiraldance Breathwork™ Practitioner and Reiki Level II Practitioner. As a guide, she supports students in connecting to breath, the body's innate wisdom, and self.

She is also an ICAHP-certified Rose Shamanism practitioner integrating conscious breath practices, Gestalt-informed somatic inquiry, and embodiment through her work.

Ginny and Genell’s carefully blended skills and experience offer medicine in studied practice and grounding, ideal for an intimate small-group setting in the beauty of the Vermont mountains.

With over 3 decades of combined experience, Genell & Ginny have guided, taught, and led groups. This weekend of accumulated experience is an extended opportunity to share in their wisdom.

Nagdeo Sanctuary

Nagdeo Sanctuary, of Washington, Vermont, is run by a family whose intentions run deep.

Nagdeo is “dedicated to living consciously on the land. The sanctuary runs fully on solar power, with pure water drawn from our own well. We nurture the soil with compost and organic matter sourced from local biodynamic farms, keeping our footprint as light as possible.”

The Meaning of Nagdeo

At the heart of Nagdeo Sanctuary is an idea drawn from Dorothy Bryant’s visionary novel The Kin of Ata Are Waiting for You. “Nagdeo” embodies a quiet, knowing understanding of what truly serves both self and community—a moral compass guiding us toward harmony and away from harm, nurturing balance and growth in all we do.
